I've never seen those. I have run the BFG drag radial in the 205/50 x 15 size, but those Yoko's just look stickier!

However, aren't you afraid of looking weird with 22 inch tall tires? ;D

Mike, i'm totally new in this game. What would you recommend ? I can get these in 50's as well.
I think a 205 would just be overkill and seconds lost.

That is a road race tire. Very good, but not with wrinkle side walls like a dedicated street drag tire or true slick. 

That's what i can get overhere. I'm not willing to pay 580 USD for shipping just to have some fun going
up in smoke  ;D :(

I think those tire would be a very good choice for a street car looking to get some extra traction and the added benefit of lower overall gearing for the track. Ollie is right, they don't have a wrinkle wall, but then the small 205 BFG drag radial doesn't either. The Yoko's should provide a good compromise between slip and grip without being too hard on the drivetrain. Go for it. Have some fun. Just drive around the watr box at the track, give 'em a chirp to clean off the tread and go. You'll just need to figure out what RPM launch they like by trying different things

Those tires are good for circuit racing . They need much temperature , we tried them some years ago on a street car. For dragracing the BF Goodrich are much better .

What about the BF Goodridge Profiler 2 ? ( Streettyre)  I can get those easier then the Yoko's.

I think there are some better goodrichs avaliable , i can ask a friend , he got some with good results

Yes they do, but you need a Racing License to obtain real slicks, and thrust me you will be checked. That's why i ordered the Street ET's.

I guess it alreday has been said but as I run them, I can confirm.
I run A048 on the circuit and street. They are even "slippery" for the first lap or two but then they are very nice.
For sure not a tire of choice if you look for strip ETs.

That's what i mean , the same are the toyo's .
Only americans know how to make drag tires  ::)
