after bug-in fever it's time to looking forward!!! Only two words........HILLS RACE!! Only two days........5-6 September 2009!! It held at Rivanazzano Dragway, Pavia, Italy and it's open to VW air cooled, American cars and Harley Davidson. It's the biggest meeting here in Italy, the atmosphere is very quite, funny people and tons of cool cars, bikes and racers. The 1/4 mile strip is prepared for an awesome traction and big wheelie! If you want to race you can choose: official race ACI-CSAI or free passes. There will be saturday night live concert and after party by famous FULL OF GAS SCOOTER, very good food like our tradition, and sun sun sun......this period is so nice here in italy!!! Friends, Cal-lookers, Racers ...it's cool if you will decide to come here! This is the strip, 1.2 km long, and the wonderfull hills around the site. The show & shine area is very vaste, all kind of aircooled are welcome! Top 20 awards for VWs.....so polish your cars! The gate will open saturday morning generally but if you all will friday evening......of course is possible. Some numbers from last edition... about 200 VWs (racer, Cal-look, classic, lowered....) 450 Harley Davidson 250 V8 cars about 5000 person and visitors This meeting is growing up quicly and we attend a lot of cars more than last edition............... will be awesome! I had some little troubles with the beetle, when I started the car this morning one tire was flat, and after 45min on the road it goes flat again ! So I went back to home with the spare tire, and took another car. I lost about 2 hours but I finally arrived at the dragstrip at 12:00. I will post the pics tommorow, I'm tired after this 600km trip, and I took about 500 pics ! The Kustom Kulture area it was a blast and my '54 has win the award:)

i'm so sorry that i don't meet u... but i'm really proud that u , DAS guys and some other came to HR... (now u know how the way is long for us to come at EBI ;D) it's been a real cool event i think...with great cars (yes there was also some interesting american cars... ::) ehehehehe) and for us is becoming the "home event"... it's great to see (and let see it to other person from V8 world and simple visitors) how VW can be loved...and can be fast... sorry but i don't have pics cause i was too busy to drink and enjoy... i hope someone enjoy also the party at saturday night....it has been crazy!! I did the video with my mobile phone, i stuck it in the soft handle for the rear passengers, that worked very well! Good idea !
