My mind is changing, Capri blue, Sea blue or Strato silver blue?? Or even grey? Theres a really yummy grey one in the 'show us you cal look' thread and a nice strato one as well, but is that colour just too early for my car? My grandads '54 karmann was strato..

If not a VW colour then check out Porsche colour charts, they spent a lot of money researching colours and there's some good ones that should work well on a Bug plus there's plenty to chose from that are from the correct period.

Sorry guys for no updates, bug is back now and almost completely stripped, nightmare trying to find a bodyshop who will do the work though so will probably end up doing it myself!

Trim is staying!! But will be thicker late 60's type. Will look into porka colours, sounds interesting! Whole thread on SSVC site if anyone interested.

Won't clear the filler flap, that's why it's thinner. You could leave it off that side maybe?  Smiley

Filler flap is being deleted along with side vents and fitting a 67 fuel tank
