Does anyone have good photos of gassers sporting tubular front axles, DDS, Lil Snort style etc. etc.? Any shots would be of great help. Thanks in advance!

A lot of the racers back in the Day used this style front end it allowed you to Deep Stage and leave a little early without red lighting because as the weight transfered to the rear and the front end lifted the front wheels actually moved back a few inches which in turn would not trip the tree and give you a red light  look at the picture of the race shop ghia in the air the wheels are moved back but when it on the ground the wheels are centered  it was an old trick used back in the day with  VW racers
