Nice long straight away after the little 2 lane canyon I take into work everyday. Ran the VW to work today, sort of in honor of 23 years of ownership tomorrow.

Waiting @ light where main drag crosses this long straight.... Mr. Workout muscle guy sidles up in lane next to me, in his late 1990's Acura sedan. The light changes and he charges ahead in a big ordeal of front wheel spin and rev limiter.

WTF?

My oil's warm enough, nobody around... why the hell not? Click into second gear, pedal to mat...  6500shift...bye bye.
