No big deal... that car, however, is cool.

"Hey mister, are those Ercos?" Wink

Ivan, it was a mistake to sell those, no matter how cool the BRMs are. It completely changes the look of the car, reminds me of Deano Kirstens blue '67. It's nice to change things about! Smiley

I loved the way it looked on DDS rims - but I sold them because the muppet who worked at the tire shop buckled two of them when he fitted the tires. It became obvious he'd screwed up when he started trying to balance the wheels - he added so many weights the rim was probably twice the weight! Not actually, but I've never seen any wheels with that many weights.
When I fitted them and drove the car it was horrendous - the car was dangerous to drive. My pathetically thin arms couldn't cop with the steering wobble at speed. It reminded me of getting a 'tank-slapper' speed wobble on an old Yamaha RD350LC at around 100mph back in the early 80's - SCAREY!
So, basically I was so angry that it put me off the wheels I'd yearned to own so badly for so long and I sold them.

I remember that – and I had the same problem with the DDS pie-pans on the rear of 'Flashback'. Same deal – the tyre guy put about 100psi to get the tyre to pop up on the rim, but the tyre didn't move… the rim did. Muppet. Roll Eyes
