i was watching on this cool site http://imcdb.org/ , the name of the AMC car in 007 " the man with the golden gun" and after i do  some search just to see some cars in movie ,and i wrote dragster  found a page with cool car http://imcdb.org/movie_85656-Heart-Like-a-Wheel.html it's a 83 movie  and watching the pictures  ,you can see some shot at ocir , and the last photo there's a choptop vw racecar , but i can't named that car , is this dave bonbright engine master racecar

Shirley Muldowney movie. used to watch it all the time when I was a teenager... great movie.

Car in the movie photo appears to have a Plexiglass 'ragtop', and also has deep running boards and side trim...
