1956 karmann ghia

-Verly early 1956 matching numbers body and pan
-one piece bumpers with solid  over riders restored
-new pan halfs installed
- new front beam 4130 chromoly 2 inch narrow with  sway a way adjusters, new tie rods , rod ends, and delron bushings and shocks.
-new brake master cylinder,all hard lines ,all rubber lines all wheel cylinders rear brakes and drums drilled for porsche  alloy front has bolt on adapters.
-optima battery new battery cables
-fuel system -6 screw in fitting from tank to holly red pump 3/8 aluminum to holly regulator in engine compartment.
-transmission is brand new drum to drum from rancho transmission
-wheels are porsche cookie cutters just restored by Al Reed
-new front rear and quarter window rubber. Quarter window rubber needs to be installed. Also has new door striker plates
car has been converted to 12 volt

The car has 1 piece bumpers and solid over riders. The heater ducts are in the front of the rocker sill. The fresh air ducts have round knobs not levers. The quarter window trim is 1 piece and body trim has the aluminum block it has the ribbed fuel tank correct seats door panels

The gaps on the doors and hood are great. The deck lid will need some work.
The nose has had a small repair. The sides and tail are clean. The passanger side rear lower quarter will need a rust repair.
The interrior panels are complete but will need to be reworked.
The trunk script is missing as well as the badge on the side.  So are the front body chrome strips.
The front windshield has been replaced. All the rest have the big sekurit logo.



             $7000 USD
             $6300 minus the cookie cutters

I talked with Scott last night. He's has some interest in it and he's waiting for a deposit to be put down on it.

Of course, it's never sold until some money actually changes hands ;-)

Scott Augustine is selling it. Doesn't sound like it's staying in the US.
