Hi Guys Made A Big Score this Weekend I bought a set of 5 Lug Centerlines with new tires for $300.00 on Saturday. When I went to pick them up the guy had alot of VW stuff I asked him if he had any engine parts? he showed me motor parts he had bought 2 years ago to build a motor and never Did!! after loading up the Wheels in my truck we were talking and I told him if he ever wanted to sell it let me know I told him I might have a friend that might want it he said ok so I got in my Truck to leave and he opened my Passenger door and said why don't I give my Friend a Call I then Asked well What do you Want For It he Said he would like to get $700.00 or $800.00 but he wanted to be Fair On the Price so When I got Home I gave him A Call and Told Him I would like to Check it Out so Sunday I went back over there looked everything over and Bought It for $700.00 Ok here is Where It Gets Good!!  This is What I Got. All Parts are Brand New Auto Lina High Top Aluminum Case opened for a 86X94 , Forged 84 mm Wedgemated Crank and Flywheel (Chevy Journal) Eagle H Beam Rods don't know the length yet,Mahle 94 B's, Engle FK10, all Bearings (Crank,Rod,Cam,) Added Bonus was a Stage 1 KEP Pressure Plate I did not see, Since the crank flywheel and Pulley were all bolted together and standing up on a cart Noticed the Pressure plate when Loading it in my truck Not a Bad Weekend at All  will post Pictures when I take them Assy. was also fully Balanced.  Buy the Way the Friend I Called Was Shubee  LOL  Crank and flywheel have a little surface rust from sitting .

LOL I ll Bet you Would But Motor and wheels will be going on My Next Project Cal Look Manx LOL (similar to the bottom picture  ex Scott Bakken Buggy)

That was an epic score.

I had a thought Monday to ask the guy that has my original Centerlines off my blue car ... sent him an e-mail and he's gonna give them back!
I remember my brother ordering these back in the late 70s when they first started making them for VWs! I can still see him talking on the phone trying to get the ofsett right ... I'll find a pic from the old days cuz I'm going back to the original look!

Just had to cut a few pushrods to get the feeling ... EXCELLENT. I'm in love ...

Came with a box of tooling too!

Craftsman, eh? Those were made by Atlas. If you need spare parts, there are quite a few on Ebay.

Where did you find that?  Have you guys ever looked on Government liqudation . com    Great place for equipment, I bought my P-9 pullmax. They have sheetmetal stuff on there sometimes. And if the auction or military base is near you , even better no trucking.
