Got a little problem , my 67 its all original apart from some nice person decided that a late stereo was the way to go so they cut the dash....Without putting metal back into the car can anybody give some ideas what to do with the nasty hole? Guage pannels etc?

Thank you

Gauge panel - that's what I'm doing! Just a simple piece trimmed neatly to size for the centre of the dash with three holes punched in it, maybe a couple of switches, and polish the rivet heads to contrast with the black crackle finish paint.
An alternative could be a simple bead rolled panel for the glovebox lid, one covering the centre of the dash (including the speaker grille with the fuel gauge in), and another for the larger speaker grill. It would give the look of a race car ali dash without losing the glovebox or the stock speedo location. You could also go for the same idea but in black polycarbonate, like the Aronson/Holmes car.

not sure how big a hole, but paintbox can weld in an old dash section and rattle can it for you.  I have this problem on mine, just not got round to it.  They said to me it would be metal finished on both sides so you wouldn't ever see the join.

How about putting in a really cool period 70's tape player or 8track?
Have a look for something like a Pioneer KP500....it's the ultimate mid/late 70's car stereo and they look awesome.
Dunno how big your hole is (oo-er) but they're bigger than the standard aperture.

It's actually Ferrari red. It's the red as used on the F40, but with more blue tint.
