I'm looking for ideas on this one..
I have a recently completed customer car that has an odd issue with a large amount of timing scatter. The crank will rotate 14 degrees before the rotor turns. The distributor is locked(ECU controlled ignition). The drive(German) was pulled out and everything appears fine. Any thoughts? The engine is all over the place whilst cruising. Thanks!

Was the drive Endplay checked with the case halves split and the distributor installed? I believe .050" is about right?

It sound like the brass gear might be going away, seems this is quite common the last year or so.

Cheers
