Who makes the best pan half for Ghias and how much do they cost . Since I am waiting for the NSU to get back from the fabricator I figure I would start looking for parts needed for the Ghia. The first thing I will have to do is to replace both pan half . The engine transmission and front beam are done other than waiting for a few parts getting chrome.

   Thanks

Frenchy

The standard pan half that seems to be available is one with a (incorrect for Ghia) curved rib in the front footwell area
I think this is based on a Thing half

Gerson is on the verge of making correct Ghia floorpans
Really worth giving him a call to see where he's at with them

Most of Gerson's panels have been really well received
He makes an effort on correctness
Despite his attention so far being mainly on Beetle & Bus, his first love was/is Ghias!

Gerson has recently made Split Window pans

I have bought several (later generation) bus panels from Gerson, & I am impressed with the quality

My pal Dan is waiting on a pair of Gerson Ghia pans. Maybe it's worth a chat with him to find out the latest

I think Gersons pans would be worth waiting for if you can

Frenchy, Do your self a favor and find a nice used pan half. The repro's really suck, BAD ! spent a extra day and a half to repair the rips and tears and nasty stampings. on the only ones you can get. Plus they dont match the original beads.

Hello,

Chris Morrice from Oakland CA (several ads on www.thesamba.com), has parted several karmann ghia's. I'm almost sure he has the parts you need.
