yeah, well this one isnt "fast" anymore, it has a 1600 in it, but we just took out the motor and building a 2110, hoping to have it done by the bug in 36!

this is a car that i personnally like very much, can't really say why... because of it i now love 8 spokes and somehow if i wanted to build a cal-lookcar it could look like this one. to me it has a great feel about it

does anyone know more about it or has more pictures? i really like to see more of it.

and sorry that the picture is a bit shacky, but you try taking a picture of such a nice car and a man like bill schwimmer and not being nervous  Grin Grin Grin

my dad told me he is VERY honored people remember the car and the history.

San Bernardino Glass -- They were the first to make tinted windows (where the tint was between the glass panes) for VW's also  They distributed the one piece windows everywhere --and the guys that run it are still way cool -- they are setting my buddies Allstate (Henry J) up with electric windows right now

true about SBG also did the conversion, but the conversion for my dad and dean kirstens car were done at franks glass in bellflower california... they also had the tinted & tempered safety glass
