If you include type 4's then i've read that Remmele is working on a 3.6-3.8l based upon a new crankcase

A guy on the German Bug-talk forum is a regular visitor at Remmele and mentioned this. He mentioned that it will use reworked Deutz cilinders in 106+mm bore.Bear in mind that Remmele already sells 3047cc Type 4 engines.

I know Edi Remmele good and I have much parts from him.
Yes he built a 96 X 112 Type4 with his own case and Deutz Cylinder. (3700 ccm) The first engine run on the dyno. with his own throttle bodies.
He sell 3,1 l engine with real 250 ps and much more as street engines since years. With this engines you can go to supermarket drag strip and highway.

Yes it is a complete new CAD construction milled from full aluminium with deeper cam position, special crank and Remmele Heads. He told me something about 400 NM torque Dirk

Did he develop the case himself or did someone do that for him?I know his fist engines were built by Holzapfel.

Has anyone actually receiving any parts from DRD? Or a answer to a email sent to DRD?

Yes, I received my parts after opening a dispute in PayPal resolution center. Before that I got no reply to several email enquiries.

I would love to have a 3.7 type 4 on my German Look. Mine is a 2.7 with engine plus heads and trust me it feels really strong. Do we know anything else about this monster? Please update us.

I have a 90mm stroke in my Oxy. It's so tight to the cam! I realy don't know if a bigger stroke is safe to use in a T1 case. Please post a pic of an open case with a 90+ stroke crank inkl rods and cam.

hello 2919. you must not have clearance the rods like i do when i ran my 92 STROKE in my very first there was still ODOILES of room left for even 1 mm even 2. 90mm is a mere SLIP IN CRANK in a non drop cam configureration.thanks Rob for your help. Ive seen Darens case it looks more aircraft based. my engine looks more like the REAL MCOY for those PURIST at heart. Darren's case is a sexy beast for sure. will he ever get it together that's up to him. when i RD my goods i literally had to drop all my customers for months. it cost me a BUNDLE STRESS AND $$$$$$. i can imagine what he,s going throe with reinventing the wheel as far as that case is. just a few tid bits from the big bore T1 CORNER . UD .
