On the 68'- 69', maybe 70's tail lights with amber tops and red bottoms, whats the history on these? Also the same amber top but with the clear bottoms for back-up light?? Was brought up on another post, very curious.

standard item for the spar-käfer.  Backup lights are not required, so to reduce the cost of the car, they were not installed.
