Judging from the appearance and set up of the cars I think that this was shot in the late '70s.

talk  to Lyle  Cherry  today,,,,he  told  me Hefler   bought  him out on the car,,and went on to repaint the first car (in video)   a different  color....this car   has been found and bought   back by Lyle  a few years ago...LYLE  said it's in bad shape  ,,sat   out in the   weather  for years  it is also missing the rear  fenders,,decklid..eng. & trans...but  it is in one of his warehouses   waiting  to be redone......

cool vid thanks for sharing. it sounds so cool to hear the engines scream up to there rpm and for the driver to be able to have a handle on it. dosent sound the same today Cry. nothing sounds better than a full race NA 8/9000 rpm with fresh springs  roller cam tit valve high comp vw or v8 with out studder boxes. its like listing to your faviorit music it gives you goose bumps  Grin.    U D.
