There will be a stainless strap around muffler and bracket. No weld to crack from vibration

get'n closer... ck out the nice paint on rear fenders/apron, eng tin by danny. Danny also did 356/912 breather, danny then welded up exh pieces from al's headers with marmon clamp, gab fab muffler hanger brkt, then black ceramic coated exh. Doug berg then installed new wire harness , fabbed oil , fuel lines, and made baffled v/c cannisters under each rear fender with k/n breathers . Rear brms now have new color on spoke section. Look real, eh ? things to do.. paint front wheels, finish wiring, install grey german square weave carpet, and Huh Then hope to go to kelly park april 17. Big thanks to all my friends in the vw industry as many changes in the car since owned...3 different motors,1600, 2332 race fuel motor, close ratio box, now berg 5, pump gas 2442. thanks to so many ... clyde berg for a great set of heads, ken taber for dyno time and patience on 2442 build, danny, gab-fab, so hard to got to his shop and see the quality of his projects and not want  to just keep going deeper on a project, doug berg for his craftmanship/ideas from brm gas pedal to the trans gusssets with camber compensator access. AND to all the dkp 3 members as proudly the quality of the cars keep stepping up. bill
