is it be possible with this tach, as it doesn't have the buttons on the right side of the face to set the revs??

Your best bet would be to purchase the shift-light that Autometer sells ... the rpm is set using 'pills' that plug in.

yep ive got an autometer shift light, not a plug in one, but has 2 wires from it.



so looks like if i need to buy the one above, with the plug in pils?

Unless you use an MSD, or the like, ignition. They sell an RPM activated switch/relay that will turn on an external accessory ... like your shift-light.

I had the same Tach but wanted a shift light also....so I just got this Tach instead.........this way you can set your shift points where ever you want ...anytime !
