Coming up for sale 1967 US spec bug. I have decided to part with my 1967 beetle. I bought it from Dominic the Burnout King its a Californian car with the original yellow on balck plates.
Its really my wifes. We travelled from Scotland to the EBI2 where my wife raced in the Powder Puff. Its a very nice car its has a patch over the battery tray. Everything else had its original underseal which was scapped off and treated to two coats of black paint. At the moment I'm working abroad but will be back in five weeks. The bug is in the paint shop having the wheel well painted and a set of sloping wings and an aronson 67 decklid painted.

It can be sold (as a roller) with the gearbox it came with £4500 or its Jim Kaforski 5 speed box £7500. In the picture its has M and Hs they are not with the car neither is the GTV steering wheel.

My email is peter@caledonain-ecoplumb.com. I will post up my mobile once I'm back. Will swap for a ghia money your way or anything else interesting.

This car is absolutely beautiful and looks every bit as good in person as it does in these pics.... while it would mean certain divorce if I bought it, I know a few who would be interested in this.... what box comes with it as a roller Pete? A stocker? Will it come with the upright wings as well as the slopers, and the original 'lid too? I kinda wish I'd seen this before buying the '60!

Your right I was quite nervous writing the advert its peter@caledonian-ecoplumb.com  Smiley

Yes you get day moulding wings slopers and the rears painted also the originals the aronson decklid along with the original.

I also have a set of 67 doors I was thinking of restoring them and putting 1 piece windows so I could swap them about. Wth all the locks the decklid and ignition from one key which will come with it.

The gearbox that came with it is off unkown origin ie Dominic wasn't sure if it was built or not.

Cheers
Peter
