Italian toys - GERMAN WAR MACHINES

« on: March 04, 2011, 11:38:51 am »

Hello from Athens GREECE. I am sure you have heard what is going on in Greece. The country’s financial situation is a mess. Every day they change the laws, the taxes, everything. Anyway I own a highly modified 1303s German Look with all the CORRECT PARTS. I have all the parts. The car is practically brand new. Its a 1303 with a rack and pinion steering wheel and has the following characteristics:

--Body Exterior--
New wings (not modified or bigger)
New running boards painted "Carbon Fiber effect"
New front & rear Bumper painted "Carbon Fiber effect"
New front & rear lights
Front Headlight rims painted "Carbon Fiber effect"
New HELLA Lights front & rear

--Under Body--
The whole under body was sandblasted and powder coated by expensive epoxy silicon paint (HEMPELS) used in the shipping industry. All screws have been changed with new inox ones.

--Interior--
OMP Strada bucket seats (fronts) re-upholstered with REAL red leather
Front Schroth black racing harnesses
PORSCHE 944 turbo (rear bucket seat) re-upholstered with REAL red leather
Original 1303 dashboard re-upholstered with REAL red leather
Original 1303 speedometer modified in Germany up to 240kmh
STACK instruments (oil temp, oil pressure, and voltmeter)
Black anodized custom hydraulic handbrake
Black Momo steering wheel (black leather with red stitching)
Power windows

--Under The Hood--
Type IV highly modified crankcase (PORSCHE 914/4-injection) bored to 103mm with ARP 2000 stud kit.
SCAT billet chromoly crank 80mm with Chevy rod journal.
PAUTER con rods with 3/8 ARP bolts set.
JE 103mm piston set + Total seal rings.
New 103mm iron cylinders.
Highly modified Type IV cylinder heads inlet valves 50mm, exhaust valves 42 mm, compression ratio set @ 11.9:1.
PAUTER titanium retainers.
PAUTER titanium lifters 39 gms with bushes.
PORSCHE 11 blade fan from 911-930 turbo + Carbon Fiber engine shroud.
PAUTER custom special camshaft? (my big secret!!!!)
Weber ALPHA 48mm throttle bodies
HALTECH ECU
Dry Sump
Front mounted oil cooler
PORSCHE 901 dogleg 5 speed with QUAIFE LSD + all necessary conversion parts from bug@5-speed.
PORSCHE 930 shafts
PORSCHE 901/914 215mm flywheel & 230lbs Kennedy clutch cover.

--Suspension--
KW variant inox line coilovers all around
Front adjustable top mounts
GWD rear uni ball system
PORSCHE 944 turbo suspension arms
VW 1303 super beetle front lower arms
BILSTEIN steering damper
KERSCHER aluminium front + back anti roll bar
Aluminium Cub brace / torque bar
Aluminium Front strut brace
PORSCHE 996 gt2 6 pot front brakes with new discs
PORSCHE 964 Carrera 4 - 4 pot rear brakes with new discs

--Wheels & tyres--
PORSCHE 911 Cup I - 7,5 x 17 "dressed" with brand new Continental tires.

The only thing that has to be done is to be assembled. As you can see all the parts are top of the line. Due to the financial situation down here I cannot afford to spend any more money on it right now. I can email you photos to take a look for your self. I believe that the car needs another 5000 Euros in order to be totally finished. This amount is needed for labor and NOT for parts. All the parts are there!!!! Another German Looker listed in mobile.de that has almost the same specs has a price tag of 44800 euros. My asking price is 35000 euros which I believe is quite fair. Offers are accepted near/by the asking price.
Shipping can be arranged.

All the parts are there!!!!

More specifically:
-Bodywork has finished – everything painted & fitted on the car.
-Interior has finished with all gauges in place. Red leather on the dashboard, black headlining fitted, black carpeting is all in place (Front, rear seats & side cards have not been finished but I have bought the leather to re-upholster them)
-Suspension has finished and has been fitted on the car
-Brakes have finished including handbrake (hydraulic) and have been fitted on the car
-Alloys & tires ready on the car
-901 dogleg gearbox has been rebuilt with a Quaife LSD and has been fitted on the car, gearstick ready & fitted
-Engine short block, heads, etc have been assembled but not fitted on the car yet (Engine is currently sitting on the bench). We have not fitted the throttle bodies & the ECU. The idea was to originally run the engine for the first 5000km on carbs and then place the ecu with the throttle bodies in order to program them on the dyno. New wiring loom needs to be done. 911 fan has not been fitted, Dry Sump has not been fitted; oil radiator has not been fitted, Oil lines have not been fitted, Oil breather box has not been fitted, Exhaust system has not been fitted.

The car is totally street legal.  Car is located in Athens-GREECE, 25 minutes away from Athens International Airport.
