Happy Birthday Mark!

We lost you 5 years ago. and we miss you tons!  We will never forget the Life celebration we had for you 5 years ago, and how many people were there to pay their respects.  It was a wonderful celebration.

We would rather be celebrating with you in person today - but know that you are in a better place, and we know that you are always with us!

I got my "In Memory of Mark Herbert" T shirt out, put it on, and took the Oval out.... found a nice wide stretch of road, with nobody else around, and tried to do the re-creation of the Quaife torture test burnout/spin around.... I failed, only got it to spin completely around 2 times, but I think it was the thought that counted.
Mike and Susy, you know you're welcome up here behind the Redwood Curtain any ol' time....

Thanks Dave - we plan on heading back up your way as soon as we can.  Our one dog has a disease called Megaesphogus, and it sucks.  He needs lots of attention,and can get asperated peumonia really easily.  He is our priority for now!

I wasn't fortunate enough to know Mark, but from everything I've seen and heard I like him.
Sounds like he loved no-holds-barred performance and yet a super nice guy to most anyone.
Those that knew him were truly lucky.
Long live his memory!
