Hi fella's , pick your brains a bit if i may . I'm thinking of changing the 130 pcd mahle's on the 67 for 205 pcd sprints . Ive got some very early cut and welded dropped spindles with std vw disc's on there at the moment , which have worked very well . What I'd like to do is ditch this set up to incorporate the 205 pcd with disc's for the sprint's . Knowing how much 205 pcd disc set up's can be has anyone found or made a way to use regular ball joint dropped disc spindles , with a csp style disc ? I don't really want to bolt up 4 to 5 stud adaptors "yuck" . I know I'm just being tight and I'll probably have to dig into my pockets a bit deeper , but I'd thought I'd see if anyone else has come up with a more affordable system . Glenn

Nope , not unless you got some king & link dropped spindle's that run STD disc and caliper's as with the CB one's Which I used to run my 4.5 fuch's on 5x130 PCD disc's . Still got to get some of these in to make sure their going to work for sure and once I do i'll let you know . Glenn

Had a bit of a bad result with some arse wiping out my 67 so I've not got any further with this . But the empi kit is probably the cheapest way to go . 2-1/2 INCH LOWERED/DROPPED SPINDLE WIDE 5 205MM DISC BRAKE KIT

Fair point , but you have to admit $399.95 is a heck of good deal for a complete kit .

Oh yeah, the spindles are 100, so the brakes just an extra 300, that was just about what I had paid for new drums, wheel cylinders, shoes, hoses, bearings, etc. So I took all that back and bought the kit. It was only $349 last year, but that is here in the states. BUT, the kit went together real well, & has performed well. My only complaint is the dust fouls the wheels.
