VW Grave Yard found in Scotland
«

So last week i got a call from Steve Walker who told me about a find in Scotland beside Dundee, his son Jake forwarded some photos but the exact location was unknow, it was one of these a friend of a friend deal, however Jake gave me a slightly different location and some photos...... so an evening on the net with Google maps and hey presto found it, so armed with the camera, my son and I went for a nosey today (yes we had the tools in the van, just in case) However once we got there we found a really nice slightly eccentric old guy with over 190 cars, 30 of them beetles and 7 buses amongst some other rusty old shit, after speaking with the guy today Ive decided to keep the location private, the cars are all too far gone and he doesnt want to be brothered with people, hes says hes not into selling or breaking as its his collection and hes saving them from the crusher "his words"....... anyway heres some pictures.

Hi Russel, so if I understand this old fellows logic correctly, he would rather these cars rot and return to the earth then sell them and have them go to good use? Sometimes you just have to throw up your hands and laugh,,, I guess. slightly eccentric or slightly insane LMAO

Eccentric is usually a prerequisite for being a VW enthusiast, in my experience...lol.

At least, it's mostly late standard junk with very few early pieces sprinkled here and there.
Unless, the best photos have not been posted...
