I've seen this done on other forums with great success and popularity. If the mods agree, it could make a great sticky thread.

Basically what you do is list item(s) that you have laying around, VW related or not, that you are willing to give away to someone who wants/needs it. The key is, GIVE away...no cost except for the receiving person to maybe cover shipping if needed. If you take something, all you do is "pay it forward" by listing something you have.

If you have nothing to give, that is fine. I know many of us have small items (take offs, etc) that are just laying around. Lets let somebody who needs these put them to use!

Pictures definitely help!

Edit:

Try to keep transactions via PM's to keep the thread organized. Once you give something away, edit your original post so that others know you no longer have the item.

I have a several highly desireable and hard to find "Dave's Motorwerke, Bellflower CA" license plate frames left over from my old shop days.. Occasionally seen on a few discerning cars here on The Lounge, while supplies last, you too could have a pair for free. (ok, you pay shipping).
If interested, shoot me a PM..
Cheers!

Hey Dave - Good to hear from you, I think "Jick" started a thread like this a while back (over a year ago!) I got a pair of Lucas 488 front indicators from him and I sent a CB deep sump to Joe Gallagher (I think)

This is an really cool idea for our forum - Lets do it  Smiley

By the way I still have a pair of your Plate frames stashed away ready for my Cal Looker  Wink
