MSD / Electric fuel pump
«

I have installed my MSD at the time and I´m wondering how I could add my fuel pump relais to the system.
Until now I had the signal for the relais from my coil/distributor and the fuel pump startet working when I turned the key.
When I put the relais of the fuel pump on the tach out of my MSD it does not work!
I don´t want to add a switch for the fuel pump, cause in case of a crash it would not stop. Also I don´t want to take care of the switch every time I turn the engine off. When I forget to turn it off it would cause damage to the fuel pump. And I know I will forget! :-)
I guess I´m not the only one who struggled with this problem. Is there a possibility to add the fuel pump to the MSD system?
MSD is a 6AL.
Thanks

You could put a relay from the oil pressure switch.
