Mods please move if this is in the wrong location.

There's a chance i'm going to be in Sweden at the same time this event is on this year (June 8th-10th).  Is it a good show?  Would it be worth the trip from Hagfors for the Sunday?

Thanks in advance.   Smiley

If you are into dragracing there is a race in Kjula outside of Eskilstuna where some fast VW will be the same dates. Besides them there will be approx 200 other cars mainly american old tin.

Depends how long is the drive from Hagfors? Smiley Turned into a watercooled event during the past 5-7 years, looked like a super market parking lot at rush hour last time I was there.

The drive from Hagfors to Mantorp is approx. 3.75 hours.  It's approx. 3 hours from Hagfors to Kjula.  I think Kjula is the clear winner.   Grin

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys running there.   Smiley

Kjula aka Turbo Town Shootout 2 is a MUST in my calendar. It is held at a old military airstrip in the middle of the forest and it is a great place to camp. Lots of cool cars and I believe the VW crowd is allowed to camp together no matter what class they run. There is also a food court and a party in a barn/bar that is near to the strip.

Please find some pictures from last year here:
