Thinking of changing the Amercian's out for a set of either Fuchs (Porsche pattern no adapters) or maybe some Erco type wheel (either 4 lug or Porsche pattern). My car is a 72 standard with IRS....anyone with size/offset fitting ideas, rear tires will be the M@H 215/65-15's, and I have a 2" narrowed beam

I think your current wheels make your car really stand out, so don't change them!
But if you must... I think Erco's (or similar wheels) only look right in wide 5. A 6" Porsche wheel works great on a 2" beam with drop spindles, use a 175/65 or 185/60 tire. 6" Porsche wheels will work in the rear also. 7" needs narrowed trailing arms to fit in the fender.

Why not put the M&H's on the Americans?

Running Airkewld's 'Bad Brakes' all the way around with the interchanging hubs. Beam is custom-narrowed 2 1/2" by myself with one adjuster and 2" lowered spindles.
Sorry for leaving that out! Cheesy

I checked with a friend running 7s with drums and stock arms. With 205-70/15 tires it does rub the sidewalls a little. A 65-series might change things.
