Hello,

Does somebody have a good description on how to replace the baseplate on the framehead.
I mean this part.. http://csplink.de/rdJl34Hinr

Any info appreciated

Hi,

I did it like this. First drill all the spotwelds open like pictured under. Clean, blast, coat rusty spots in tunnel.

Clamp new bottomplate in place with different kinds of pliers and weld the spots back on. front lip is migwelded totally, not spots. also the rear edge is welded totally to the tunnel bottomplate.
