Hi cal lookers, I always dreaming about a nostalgia racecar, a friend of me give me this fastback, with all restaured chassis for free !

The body had the rear section of the roof cutted, and a lot of bondo everywhere, so i buy an other car

Chassis swap...

There is a lot of work to do on the wings ans hoods, so i decided to use the parts of the purple fastback, and put in the flip front
So, I have to win some weight...

Better !

Inside of the doors too...

I buy a drag 5 gallons gas tank and five points simpson

And the car looks like this with the purple fastback body parts

And there is the final project !!

It is a low budget car, the engine is a 1600 with 40 drla, eagle 110 cam, 9.1 RV, shadec oil pump, full flow...
I don't want to be in the 10's, but 15 seconds will be a good time for a fastback with a 1600 engine !

Any idea of how much weight you took out of your fastback?  Gut that thing and 80- 90 HP is all you should need...
