We only went to watch at this event, not actually racing ourselves which allowed us more time to look around and enjoy the show, as we were also helping/crewing for someone else we had startline access, this allowed Jo to have time and location to take alot of pictures, here is a link to some of them she likes Smiley

Super nice & sharp pictures, thanks!

What times did Kris, Eric and Snoopy run in Pro-mod?

Thanks Walter

Eric madson in the ghia didnt make a full pass,a loose fuel line or o ring caused a small fire about 1/2 track and did enough damage to sideline the car for the day,but no major harm was done Smiley  Kris ran 8.35@175mph without 1st gear as it had broken on an earlier pass,he launched in 2nd gear, lost over 3/10 in the 60ft alone over a normal pass and still went that quick Shocked  you do the math,it was a good pass Wink Cool

I only saw one second gear start on the direct/live feed on the webcam and he stalled it then and cruised the line after he started it again.

The math is indeed not that hard: I think you can easily double the 60ft loss in the quarter with his speed down the line, so that would have been at least a 7.7/7.8 run  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
Bl**dy h*ll!
They do seem to get a handle on it more and more. Amazing stuff!

Cheers for that!

I know in reality you cant use your best increments to actually "create" a pass but to be exact is was 0.34 down on there best 60ft and I agree, you should be looking at x2 down the track, maybe 7.60s are achievable this year Shocked

The track was good, but the air was horrible, not condusive to breaking records thats for sure so hopefully when they go back next month for the Street car super nationals it will have cooled down a little and still be hot enough for a good track
