Trophy class racing info?

Hey all,

I was thinking of running my car at the Hot VW's Drag day and had a few questions regarding regulations.  I'd be doing the trophy/sportsman class for street cars.  I haven't had much luck finding the rules/regulations online.  I did find the PRA rules but was unsure if those are the rules that need to be abided for trophy class as well.  It's been about 10 years since I raced at an event so I'm unsure on what rules have changed.  Any info or tips would be appreciated

My main concerns are with regards to:

-Helmet/neck restraint requirements?
-using rubber fuel line
-Wheel adapters (front)

My car is running an 1800cc with dual 40 DCNF's, K-8 cam, 40x35.5 heads, etc. so it won't be setting times below 13-secs.

I am not 100% certain on whats required for helmet,if you search irwindale raceway I think they have the requirements on there for what et & speed helmet needed etc,they dont like to see lots of rubber fuel line,official line is must be less than 12inches rubber hose,they will only check for wheel nuts all being present and tight & no hubcaps allowed,must have a seat belt,seat secured, no oil leaks, fuel tank area sealed, if they open the hood and can see daylight  through the dash they will make you seal it up,must have muffler and as its 1/8 mile you will proberly go quicker than 13s

Drag day is at Irwindale and 1/8 mile so I sure hope you do better than 13 secs.

The real rule for rubber fuel line is no more than 12 inches I believe.
Not sure on helmet but might be 8.50 and quicker also I believe if you have roll bar you need helmet
don't worry about the adapters must have all lug nuts though and no hubcaps.  With slicks studs should protrude from the lugs at least the equivalent to the diameter of the stud

I've gone 7.69 there with no neck brace not sure when or if it's required......Hope that's some help

haha, whoops, I forgot to compensate that time for the 1/8 mile.  I too hope I go over 13-sec 

Looks like all I'll need to do is change my line underneath the tank to steel-braded and seal up my speaker hole in the dash.
