Richie i would if i had the money to buy the think, but what i am looking at is for all the engines that are out there with this aluminium block someone must have had the idea to find out why the damn thing runs hot. The type4 engine didn't have this problem so what gives.

none of us have the money to spend on R&D, for most its just trial and error and learn from our mistakes, you will learn lots that way Shocked


I will start you off will a couple of ideas,

They are much thicker in most areas of the case surface and much denser material than the mag cases,typically they weigh over twice as much as the mag case

What does "run hotter" mean? Do you mean you see a higher oil temp, or do the IR temp read the case as hotter, or both?
And do they run hotter as drysump also?

JHU it's the oil i was getting at. All the guys in the states that have built with these case say the oil temp goes up 20 degrees.
