So far excellent, bump in "pro street" is 6.56 for a 32 car field, 42 cars at least in this class alone, and 2 more rounds of qualifying tommorow[saturday] low ET 5.74 and 260mph top speed

Real 1/4 mile racing Grin

Great action, great live link and lots of car. What more can we ask for on a rainy evening here in Norway except for some vw action perhaps.

It was a great 4 days racing, bump in pro street ended up at 6.34 for the 32 car field with 47 cars entered, who says the bad economy stops people racing,if they had enough money before it seems they have enough still now Shocked

There were alot of breakages which I suppose is enevitable when its the last race of the year and $20,000 to win, it even rained breifly to add to the weird conditions all teams had to deal with.

I would really like to try the Outlaw 8.5 class next year but with the quick cars already running 5 teens[class is 1/8 mile only due to to dangerous for 1/4 mile Shocked ] I think it will be beyond a VWs ability by next years event, rules really work against a VW for this class

We had as much fun watching it online with the chat room banter Smiley

Lots of oil downs.

Did you see the cream dream mercury pulling those big wheel stands?

That car was so cool, just needed a little yellow in the paint to make it perfect Grin  Was from canada, running proper treaded drag radials and was so enteraining, took a few pics of it in the pits & a couple of vidoes for those that didn't see it run which I will put up in a while, nothing to exotic under the bonnet, just a well thought out car Smiley

Great thread about it on yellow bullet.

It had colour matched turbos so think so,will take a look to read the thread then as it had all the basic ingredients that we are planning to use on my AMC rambler wagon for future Hot rod drag week use Wink
