This afternoon Christie and I were out cruzin' in the M5.  Started off by going to the Northwoods Inn off the 5 freeway for lunch.  http://www.clearmansrestaurants.com/northwoods/lm.php  As always very good and speaking for myself I ate like a pig.  Just finished my second course here at home, BURP.........   Shocked Shocked Shocked

After lunch we drove back to Anaheim and drove up and down streets though what is now known as the Historic Colony Distric http://anaheimcolony.com/ .  I've maintained a strong interest in the area for over 50 years and if the right opportunity came about I could live in one of those special homes.

Anyway towards the end of our tour I ventured east on La Palma, turned right (south) on Anaheim Blvd., formerly Los Angeles St.  When we were approaching North St. I looked an the Anchor Muffler sign was on the building to the north of it's former location.  This was once a service station and I don't recall seeing it prior.

I'm sure Pat Stutsman sold and retired a few years back and have no idea who is running it these day.  Possibly it is tied in with the old location which is now a stereo and accessories shop.

Anyone have further info on this update??
