Here we go! This my ´71 bug I am rebuilding at the moment.
I got it from a friend for a beer.
That´s the way it looked as I got it, I´m sure the bug had better days.

A little bit cutting and welding....

the first rebuilt with fenders and hoods for the pre ´67 look.

The idea was to build a low budget bug with new and rebuilt technic and a nasty look. The saved money will be spent for a engine with more hp for surprises at the traffic light.

The finished floor pan with new front disc brakes....

The body is now ready for the paintjob....

I will post some pics when the paintjob is done. Wink

By the way does anyone know if 4lug Empi sprintstar wheels with ET6 fit under the original rear fenders?? Huh
