--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To make a long story short, in Sept. 2010 i ordered a Pro Mod style Ghia from Kevin Shull at KSR. I payed half of the price we agreed on. A few months later I shipped a Mendy 2D and some wheels to him.  Now I havent heard from him in over 3 months, he doesnt answer e-mail or phone.
Is there anyone who can try to contact him and talk him into doing the right thing??
I am not interested in a car from him any more, I just want my money and my stuff back..

Thanks,
/Hakan Lundgren    Sweden

Too bad this happens.
to me it looks like a lot of us businesses are too damn lazy to just process an order made by a european. Ordered parts from most vw suppliers and the majority is just a waste of my time. Looks like our money isn't good enough. Hell they have a great economy over there  Grin Grin

Paying with a creditcard doesn't add any security as the creditcard company's tell you that resident customers come first when something goes wrong. I lost allmost 900 dollars to a crook named Steve Serrano a few years ago, bye bye money Undecided

I had a similar problem dealing with KSR in that a set of heads I ordered took over a year to arrive and he was often unavailable. He came through in the end, but a lot of worry on my part in the process.

People like this need to be hung..
But it's amazing how out there when you read threads like this that someone will say they had a great experience with the seller.   And it's not like he's selling a few small bits. ALL of these complaints are for thousands of pounds of exotic gear.

I had a similar issue with a guy that was rebuilding my Lotus Carlton.  He had £5k of my money and he went dark for about 6months.  Turns out he had a fire in the workshop in Blackburn (So he wasn't even just round the corner for me to pop over and take a look ) but it was suspisious and my car was burned a little.

In the end, I drove the 4hrs to Blackburn and turned up and waited for him to show and he did.   Eventually I got my car as he realised I wasn't gonna be fobbed of by his phone calls or lack of them. But I took my car then didn't pay him the full amount.   as he'd not done it right.

I tend to only work with recommended dealers or workmen and research research research first.   And keep in touch with them every week till it's done.
