These are £150 per pair , or £180 with headlight bowls fitted .

Rob, are you planning to do even rear wings and Hoods? I am looking for a Flakey Jake like front hood with skoops.

Yes , as you can see I make the headlight bowls by taking a mould from Andy's race face !

 Grin

I'm WRP Paint & Restoration, where Steve's herbie is getting done.

I can let you all know the quality of Robs stuff here is top notch, the wings a ace, the difference between Robs/Steves bonnet and another I have here is night & day, not even comparable !!

LOL.

I too have a second on the quality of the work done.   Once painted, I doubt you will know that the bonnet is not a stock Steel one. It's THAT good.   And with the price of a Steel repro (that wont' fit for toffee) it's a no brainer.

Also... I weighed it crudely with Dead Dog's Bathroom scales...  Which aren't all that acurate. But it feels loads lighter than a steel bonnet and mine has a large lip round the edge for strength and also a Hinge panel so a race weight single skin would be super light.
The photos are not great quality.  But it looked to be just under 5KG lighter!

Steel.

Fibreglass.
