Well I just got my July Hot VWs magazine and was deeply saddened to read that Scott Pearson son of Loren ("Crazy Lorenzo") Pearson had passed away.  I first met Scott when I participated in the Return to the Fatherland tour back in '99.  He and his dad were a lot of fun and I will miss him!  There weren't any details in the magazine so does anyone have any other information?  This just ruined my weekend.

Yip very sad news, i heard last week, had only met Scott once but had met his dad loads and he was so proud.

You have got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!  Scott came to my place a little over a year back to pick up a Bay Window project from me. He was a great guy.  I am really sorry to hear this.  I don't even have any words to express how sorry I am for Loren's loss.
