got lots of stuff for free, but two things stand out: a pair of genuine chromed 5x205 sprintstars and a house full of VW parts including 6 cars (typa 1 and 4), from a guy who collected stock parts (a lot of them new and never used) for all his life.he died and i knew his daughter, so i got everything Grin

gave away a very early berg linkage to a friend who helped me out with my 57 single cab. Got a great early 70's picture in frame of an old commercial bus in a tyrecentre, this was the original picture signed by the photographer and probably used for advertisment.

My grandpa also gave me a good as41 case, NOS 87mm pistons, a good unturned crank, rebuilt 041 heads, bearings, rods.  I've also gotten some vintage bikes for free too.
