press in style studs for brake rotors

i notice on the CB rotohub style brake kits, instructions says that the kit is not designed to use press in studs.

just curious if there are any measurements to determine this?

i got the CB kit used and i saw the hub has been fitted with press in studs.

i have been using press in studs on stock drums for many years no issues , or could i have just been lucky all these while?
