2498 T1 engine for sale (Long Block)

2498cc Type 1 motor with a full circle counterweight 90mm crankshaft,
wedgemated and TT 8 dowel to a 200mm lightened flywheel.
Extra long 94mm barrels and pistons.
Engle 130 cam.
30mm Melling oil pump.
Drilled and tapped for full flow in a bay van (out of the lower gallery and
back in at the top) so you have clearance for the engine support bar.
Bolt up rockers. Swivel feet. Chromoly pushrods.
Heavy duty glandnut and washer.
Magnesium crankcase.
Deepsump.
Bolt on valve covers.
Heads have 44 X 37 valves. Dual springs. Welded relocated 12mm plug holes.
Heavilly ported and polished.
8.3 - 1 compression.

I bought this engine in mid 2013 with the plan to use it in our turbo race car.  It has sat on an engine stand since with regular turning over by hand. 

I now need the money more than the engine.  Please let me know if you are interested.  This sale is for the long block only.
