Folks

Just checking ...

See the footer, long story short is innocent abroad trying to join the world of VW draggin

I now have electrics working to the point that (key/switch) on makes switched  power via relays to pump, line loc lights (if I fit em)
And kicks the starter when i press the button

Question ...

The fuel pump (Facet) docs say in the wiring workflow something like "check successful operation by vibration noise from pump".
On short burst testing with no tank/fluid to pump), mine fires like a pneumatic drill trying to get through the firewall. Very different from when it didnt work. Smiley

I have no terms of reference - is that normal?

Thanks!

Thank you - I thought it might dampen down with some fluid/backpressure.
Good to have it confirmed .
