Hey guys,
It's  been  years since I posted on this forum being busy with my children and work ....
I'm in the process of building and restoring a 1970 beetle in the callook style using an AJ Sims t1600 turbo kit which I purchased some ten years ago.
The car will be only a weekend driver......2276cc 82x94  using AJ turbo prep heads 40x35.5 t3 turbo 13/8 exhaust  holley 350 carb lbc 3 cam which the timing card gives similar specs to an Engle 120 with more lift  38mm waste gate  Basically it's his standard t600 kit.
I'm not looking for high revs on the street but max torque at lower revs running around 15psi boost .
I'm using a crane turbo boost/ignition retard control box and the disy supplied in the kit
Any recommendations on build, compression ratio, horse power torque figures?
I also have a rancho pro street gearbox
Thanks guys
