I am always fascinated about how people got into the hot VW scene. I mean, especially in the USA, it would have made more sense to buy a muscle car than mess with a Bug. As part of the research for my book, I would appreciate if some of the older guys around here (you know, Ratto, Carlita etc... or even older! Ha ha!) sat down and wrote 500 words (more if you like) on how they got into VWs and e-mail it to me at keith@fastbrit.com
