Omex 600 ecu mapping

I have recently bought a bus with a 1914cc motor with fuel injection and turbo.

It has an Omex 600 ECU, it doesn't run great upon start up and tickover so I believe there maybe improvements to be made within the map.

Is there anyone around the West Yorkshire/North England area that comes recommended who could have a look at it to hopefully get it running a little better.

If you want to get involved in your system, you could pull some info using the datalog feature from the ecu.
Then you can share that with anyone who may be interested in troubleshooting for you.

I did that when I had a problem with a bad warmup sensor, and the (free) help I received let me figure out the fix and it was an easy one.

Thanks for the reply, new to all this stand alone ecu stuff. What sort of program would I need to be able to do that.

Since I no longer have my original engine builder to use, I'm new to it as well.

If you go to the Omex website you will see it under Software:

"The DATA2000 software allows you to view the recorded parameters in bar charts, max and min values, scatter graphs and most usefully line graphs with multiple overlays and zooming functions. And if you are struggling to analyse the data yourself, the data file you have recorded can be emailed to Omex so we can see what is happening in your ECU."

In my case the graphs were all over the place, indicating an intermittent problem with a sensor. When they suggested checking the warm up sensor first, it was an easy task to disconnect that sensor and hear the engine resume to normal operation instantly.

That's pretty cool that Omex is offering to look at your data files, so DO IT!
