Does anyone have some more pics of this awesome car?? I saw it at Ruddfuckers in '03, Sonic in '04... and I think he was at the Classic that year, too. Havent seen him since. Cool guy, REALLY cool GTV.
When I first saw the car (parked in that very spot!) I asked him where he got the Raders, and he said, "They came with the car", which immediately piqued my interest. From what I remember, he told me he dated a girl just to get to her fathers GTV (original owner!) Bought the car for $700
He was telling me that it had an all EMPI motor with dual 40 P11's, he put that on the shelf for a high compression, all Berg 2387 with Mic Wooten heads and NOS, backed by a Berg 5- of course. Full set of 5 real EMPI Raders with front runners and slicks, and more original EMPI parts than you can shake a stick at. He said it was the same car that is in many of the early EMPI photographs promoting the GTV... wow.
