Thinking about running VP C10 race fuel in my car next season , currently its a 2276 , berg 48 ida`s , 9.5/1 cr . Has anybody tried this , anything major to change ?

What heads, and most important what cam?

heads are by Clyde Berg welded with 42 x 37.5 valves , cam is a engle fk10

I don't see the need of expensive Race Fuel on such a Low Compression Motor...

ok , thanks , may be upping the cr to about 10.5/1 at a later date but not too long . Any suggestions would be great

It depends on what fuel you have . Super plus like in Germany (98) roz ron octane is good for 10,5 : 1 . 9.5 :1  95 octane

Even with 10.5 CR, Race Fuel does not make sence... Roll Eyes

If you want to use Race Fuel, get the CR up to 12.5 and use VP C-12...

It releases less energy during combustion.  In a high CR engine, the higher efficiency makes up for the lower heat of combustion such that the overall hp is more.
