It was made for the led zephyr. car that boyd built. I'd just finished,drove to appostry shop a few times fittin to car about 40 minutes each way tryin to finish for oakland roadster show. I had probably 70 hours on the thing.. well i walked into boyds office to get check,have not even told him how much yeat. So he freaked out told me to meet him in the shop, He gets out there ,screaming at me ,so now I freak out ,finally I say to the ass hole find another air cleaner and I'm not your F,n/ .......igger. So I walk into paint shop and grab air cleaner. charlie the painter was just starting to skin coat some areas, I through the thing under my arm,wet bondo and all,boyd being right behind me yelling that I'm not takeing out of shop. so I turned around and told him there's know body that's going to stop me and get out of my way or I'll turn ya into a boyd throw rug, and the rest is history
