I just finished cleaning up the attic and came across a box with my brothers collection of beetle's, in that box was a poster with some beetles on it, does anyone know one of them or are they just random beetles...

I think the blue one was built by a guy from Portsmouth (at least south coast) by the name of Kev.Not sure of his second name but I'm sure it started with R. I think it got some graphics later on and was in Volksworld late 80's early 90's.

Th pink one was featured in an early Volksworld also

He went on to build a load of customs, mainly Consul Capris IIRC! And a nice Model A too.

Yup Kev Rooney. Top guy and a top car. Pretty sure it ran a 1776 back then.

The peppermint car was owned built by Dave Hershey (I think that's right). Was the car that really got me into VW's, it was a Volks World cover car, and it made me buy my first ever issue! It ran a 2.0 litre motor with NOS. I'd never imagined a Beetle could be fast until then  Cool
