My horn botton ring is pitted up and it almost looks like it was chromed. Anyone know what type of finish that came new. Almost looks anadized, but I'm not sure if it's aluminum or steel. Thanks again Jim for being so helpful and quick to pull yours off for me to check out. I still am on a mission. The wheel will have the brushed look so I don't want to have the ring chromed. Or anyone have a good ring they want to sell.
Thanks Casey.

I think it is made out of crappy stainless steel. Depending on how bad it is, you could chuck it up on a lathe and polish it with some sand paper.  I just bought a GT wheel that has a repop ring on it. I will let you know how it looks when I receive it.

Mine is pitted a little too. I have thought about getting one of these, but they are a little spendy for us with the crappy US dollar. probably a bargain for you Euro guys.

Some had a bead blasted finish while others were chromed.
